Odd Side of the Tracks gathers crows from different parts of society on the same patch of town. Each carries something human around its head, marking a different social reference, while visitors from another planet arrive overhead and add one more kind of stranger to the neighborhood.

Nobody quite belongs to the same crowd, which turns out to be what allows the crowd to form. Social distinctions mingle with extraterrestrial ones until the difference between local and outsider becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. On the odd side of the tracks, everyone is strange enough to mix.
