The Constellation

Different practices. Shared orientation.

LiminalForge is home to distinct practices in strategy, design, art and publishing.

Each has its own work, methods, audiences and ways of making. They also share a mindset: attention to what is present, curiosity about what could become possible, and deliberate movement between the two.

Together, they form the LiminalForge constellation.

Air

FarOut

Seeing the whole from another altitude.

FarOut works with businesses, strategy and innovation. It looks across systems to understand what is happening, how the parts relate and where possibility may exist.

Air represents perspective: enough distance to see patterns, relationships and direction without losing sight of what is happening on the ground.

Earth

BeHeld

Giving experience somewhere to happen.

BeHeld works through people, place and experience, translating purpose and personality into environments, occasions and moments people can inhabit.

Earth represents presence: the physical and relational conditions that give an experience form.

Fire

RebelFor

Making meaning visible.

RebelFor works through symbolic fine art and constructed imagery, assembling ideas, associations and visual material into physical works.

Fire represents transformation: material changed through making into another form.

Water

GoodBoy

Following ideas through narrative.

GoodBoy develops stories across page, screen, stage, sound and other forms, using narrative to make inner, relational and social dynamics something an audience can experience.

Water represents movement: ideas carried through characters, worlds, circumstances and time.

LiminalForge

Connected without becoming the same.

The practices do not need to produce the same things to belong together.

Perspective can inform experience. Experience can generate imagery. An image can suggest a story. Narrative can reveal a strategic question. Methods, ideas and insights can travel between practices without requiring the work itself to merge.

The constellation gives those connections somewhere to happen while allowing each practice to retain its own purpose and form.

Four practices. Different materials. Shared space between what is and what could be.

Like the sea, or a field or forest, a constellation unites many without losing a one.
