Firefly Farm
$425.00
A woman leaves corporate life for a farm that nourishes her, honoring its rural past while cultivating its energy-producing future.
About the Work
Firefly Farm finds its Queen after corporate life, settled into a place where she has chosen to define enough for herself. Around her, grain grows, fireflies illuminate the night and the farm’s rural inheritance remains present in the landscape. An owl keeps the kind of watch that comes with having seen a few things already.
She isn’t preserving the farm in amber. Its history as a place of cultivation meets a future in which the land also produces energy, allowing stewardship and change to occupy the same ground. What she has built is neither retreat nor conquest. It is a life that nourishes, with enough wisdom overhead to know that enough can actually be enough.
