In Crosswind Calling, a turkey, a goose and two ducks call to one another across intersecting currents. Their voices travel in visible waves, crossing the card as each bird contributes whatever apparently urgent information has just come to its attention.

The wind complicates the exchange but doesn’t stop it. Calls cross currents, messages overlap and news keeps moving from one bird to another. Nobody has the whole story, but everybody has something to report. By the time it reaches the other side, the day has become a conversation.
