Ground Control puts a crew of flightless birds in charge of bringing an airplane safely back to earth. Ostriches wave flags and mark directions across the tarmac, their long legs turning the work of a ground crew into something suspiciously close to choreography.

They are directing and dancing at once. Above them, the airplane follows its approach while the birds make a performance out of helping it land. Flight may get the glamour, but arrival depends on creatures with their feet firmly on the ground, even when those feet refuse to stand still.
