Wings of an Ace catches a single eagle at successive moments in flight. Snapshots overlap as the bird crosses through a diamond holding a compass, turning one continuous movement into a small record of where it has been and where it might be going.

The compass offers direction without determining the flight. The eagle can cross its bearings, follow them or leave them behind entirely. Suspended together, the three moments hold navigation and freedom in the same air: knowing where you are while remaining free to choose where you go.
